We started the new year off strong with the FTC qualifier, FTC Kickoff, and TRETC keeping us busy!

FTC Qualifier

Our FTC teams attended the FTC Raiders Qualifier. All our teams performed well and learned a lot. Shoutout to Team 9280 Hypatia for becoming Alliance 4 Captain during playoffs and winning Judges Award!

FRC Kickoff

On January 10, our students attended the FRC Kickoff event at CMU’s Gates Hillman center. Multiple teams, including Titans, Quasics, and others attended the event. Students watched a presentation by Gabriel Krotkov, listened to a guest speaker, and saw the release of this year’s FRC game, Rebuilt! Afterwards, they split up into groups to brainstorm strategy, design, and other ideas for their teams’ robot. 

TRETC

GoS attended the Three Rivers Educational Technology Conference on January 19th! We saw a lot of interesting booths and had a lot of fun! GoS’s booth ended up winning the Student Showcase award! Thanks to everyone who came!
